As we age, one of the hardest things to accept is that our parents are getting older too. When an aging parent can no longer take care of themselves in the way they used to, it is often the aging parents child or children who step up to take care of their loved one.

We are so very lucky to know some of these amazing people that we decided to interview one of our cutest mom and son teams – Wilma and her son, Michael.

Interview Questions:

  • How long have you provided care for your mom?

            Over a year.

  • What do you believe are sone benefits family members can provide their loves ones as their caregiver?

It can really show the family member you are caring that they are loved and cared for.

  • What advice can you give to someone who is new to providing care for their parent?

You have to be a loving people person and have lots of patience.

  • Do you have any plans with your mom for Mother’s Day? If so, explain.

Cooking a nice Mother’s Day dinner!

  • What is your favorite memory you share with your mom?

Getting my mom back health and happy.

Thank you to Mike and Wilma for participating in this interview and allowing us to share with others just how special the bond between family can be.

Happy Mothers Day, Wilma!
